Haiden Cowan returns to Super Late Model competition at Smoky Mountain Speedwy
Back behind the wheel of his family-owned No. 14 machine, Haiden Cowan was one of 44 Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series Late Models at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon for the King of the Mountain.
Clocking in 15th-fastest in his stacked qualifying group, Cowan gained two positions in his heat race which positioned him in a Last Chance Qualifier. Needing a Top-3 finish to transfer, Haiden barely missed the A-Main cut-off with a fourth-place finish.
