Gavin Cowan just misses Baltes Classic at Eldora Speedway ahead of World 100 week
On Sunday afternoon, Gavin Cowan and his team got to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) a few days early for the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series-sanctioned Baltes Classic.
With 65 Late Models signed in for the $5,000-to-win event, Cowan got behind in qualifying before passing a few cars in his heat race to finish sixth. Needing a Top-3 finish in his B-Main, Gavin missed the feature by one spot with a fourth-place finish.
